Carr has something to prove, and Vince is NOT invincible. Texans win 23-17. Edit: Vince will be nervous playing in front of his hometown fans and will make more mistakes than usual, if it were not his first game in Houston....I think he would lead the Titans to another victory. DD
Last time... Titans returned a punt for a TD and a fumble for a TD. The Texans also turned the ball over twice inside the Tennessee 26...and we only lost by 6 points. This time around, we cut down on how many points we give away...and we're playing at home with a lot on the line. Texans win by 14 points.
I don't see the Texans getting blown out but I could see us lose. I think we could win big but I know VY will show up. Let's go Texans 24 Titans 14
I honestly think the Texans will win this game. It's just a hunch. I don't think this is going to be as bad as a lot of people here seem to think.
Texans 27 Titans 7 As mentioned, turnovers and a return benefitted the titans last time out Our defense gets stronger each week. Winston is progressing. Mario looks better each week despite his plantar faciatis. We're at home. And we have major motivation to kick the crap out of them.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha... yeah...he looked pretty nervous in that Big XII Championship game last year.
dude, im as big of a titans fan and vince follower as anyone, but this has nothing to do with the game this sunday. That being said, I think its going to be a good game, Vince will make mistakes and Carr is going to try his hardest to prove something. I still think the Titans edge it out and win by 3.
Texans - 31 /// Titans - 14 David Carr - 250 + yards passing, 3 TD passes, 1 INT "QB Titans" - 100-150 yards passing, 1 TD pass, 2 INT
Titans 24 Texans 17 Close game but Titans edge out Texans. Plenty of mistakes on both sides but Titans offense just a little better. Not gonna be a fun day for McNair.
I wasnt a big V. Young fan when he was at UT but now seeing him lead his team to victory over some good teams I think this guy is as good as the hype. Carr has been in a league 5yrs and hasnt beaten the Colts..... Young does it in his first season. Titans 21 Texans 13 Young 215yds 2tds 5 rushes 45yds 1td Henry 18att 120yds Carr improves to 30yds passing this week...... sacked 4 times and loses 2 fumbles. This guy should be booed off the field.
I want to be wrong, but I think the Texans' offense gets outplayed in every respect of the game Sunday. The defense holds it close for a while, but they're on the field just too long. Titans by at least 10. If anyone says, "Luv Ya Blue" anywhere near me, I'll punch him in the mouth.
come on man, longhorns vs colorado does not equal titans vs texans....just discredits whatever you say. Vince wont be nervous its not going to be a hostile enviroment at all for him so hell excel just like he always has. VY-the next level
The Titans defense has been containing some good teams, lately. Including the freaking Colts. Titans 24 Texans 13
For the Texans to win, they need to play some Good D obviously. Special Teams will be a factor. Stanley sucks. Our drive will get stalled, so Stanley better do something to punt the ball away, and make Vince and the Titans have a long field. I hope Mathis will return some back so Carr doesn't have to throw the ball.
Heck, I want the game on Carr's shoulders because we need to find out what this guy is made of. If Carr can strive under the extreme pressure from media and fans (and reading the paper it sounds like coach K too) these next 4 weeks he might be the guy if not it's time for the Texans to cut ties with David.
First time as a PRO QB at Reliant......he will be nervous....if not, it will just be one more time that a nail goes into the Texan's front office for the monumental GAFFE at not selecting him first. DD
