    LOL! Awesome!

Seriously, I'm sad Bud did the right thing. Now the Titans can move on to the future instead of babysitting VY another year. I would have enjoyed the soap opera.

The good thing is that VY's issues can no longer be blamed on Fisher. Next time he sticks his thumb in his mouth and pouts, it's him, not the coach.

No one player should be above a team, but clearly Jeff Fisher is and always will be.

As I have said numerous times, I continued to follow the team from the Oilers days to Memphis to Nashville. Been very critical of the Texans organization for a lot of things, including not drafting VY. I don't think I can be a Houston Texan fan for a while, but I am definitely not going to be a Titans fan anymore.

I hope Bud and Fisher are happy with 8-8 seasons for the next 5 years.

Interesting. If this move helps blow up a chunk of the Houston fanbase for the Titans, then it's all good even if it helps them in the long run.

To timeout, or grounding without TV, phone or internet.

The Raiders or the Cowboys. Those owners love troublemakers...

mrdave543, why are you sad, sir? Aren't you happy for your team?

I knew either Fisher or VY had to go, I honestly thought it would be both or Fisher. I know VY has serious growing up to do, and has only himself to blame for the way things went down, but I hold Fisher responsible as well. I have watched/suffered through 16 years of Jeff Fisher style football, and his media spin BS. As a fan of those teams he coached, there are only a handful of good years. It was time for him to go.

The Titans were my team. Just like the Oilers were my team before they left Houston. I blame the city of Houston/Bob Lanier more than I do Bud Adams for leaving, and continued to root for them. I wanted to be both a Texan and a Titan fan, but knew that wasn't possible, so I made the choice when VY was drafted to continue supporting the Titans.

Now that Bud has made his choice, I am making mine, I can't be a fan of this team anymore. I am prepared for the backlash/hypocrisy, and knew VY wouldnt be a Titan forever, but I cant continue to support Fisher or the Titans organization.

I honestly feel just as bad as I did the day I learned the Oilers were leaving Houston....might be over-dramatic, but its the truth, I don't have a team to root for.

Bud isn't as dumb as he looks.

Hope Vince lands on his feet, in the NFC.

    Surprisingly rational decision from Bud.

I think the worst thing in the world for Vince Young would be to come to Houston or Dallas. The last thing he needs is to have smoke blown up his @ss by UT alums reliving glory days. Good for the alums, but not for Vince. He needs to go somewhere where as much as possible he can be Vince Young the former top pro quarterback prospect with something to prove, instead of Vince Young, conquering college football hero.

Buffalo might be a good fit? Out of the spotlight and low pressure. Though I kind of doubt that he'd want to go there with the cold. On NFL Network, someone suggested the Dolphins but I think there might be too much pressure from ownership on the coaches (whoever they are) to let them really work with Vince. Maybe Carolina if Andrew Luck decides not to come out?
