Good morning! Is it time to tailgate yet? Nothing like a throwback Texas rivalry from the old SWC days.

Gates open at 2 pm. Game time is at 7 pm. Also on NFL Network and 790 AM. I expect 60,000 + and praying for the roof to be open with #22 breaking off a 73-yard game winning TD and becoming UH's all-time single season leading rusher.

    GO COOGS!

Go Horned Frogs. They've had a down year. They almost always seem to follow a good year with a bad one. Strange....at least they'll be good next year. :)

Gotta root for TCU with their starting QB being a Katy Tiger and all. But, basically I'm just hoping for a good game since I'm positive the Rockets won't keep my interest.

I will be there as well. Getting there around 3 for some tailgating. Should be a fun game, should be very close. Last year was fun with the big party they set up in front of Budweiser Plaza. I am hoping for 60,000-65,000 in the house.

Is the game on locally on another channel? I have NFL Network but some people around the office don't.

I know this is "Technically" a Houston Sports thread, but this is the wrong forum. Plus you'd get a lot more hits in the Hangout. I know T Rex is headed to the game tonight.

Yep, we'll be there. Section 107, Row W

I'll take anything close to the last two TCU-UH games

    2003 62-55 TCU
    2004 34-27 TCU

    TCU wins another shootout.......42-32

    TCU

I think UH is going to take care of TCU.
The moneyline is +200 - like it a lot
    We're getting 6 and 1/2 too.

I think this transition to Kevin will be smooth and the Coogs play like a team on the rise tonight....with heart, momentum, and an eye to the future.

I'll match any tipjar bets up to 300.

Coogs +6 1/2 ?????Step right up!

    Go Coogs!

Man this is gonna be fun to watch. I would be in the stands except my lungs are half filled with tapioca. It's gotta be the flu, or pnemonia or the black death or something.

    I am thinking Coogs 42 Frogs 35

Defense exceeding expectations. Obvious that Briles took the brain trust behind the Stephenville offense with him.

I am not concerned, Coogs playing hard. Quick Six WILL find the endzone before its all said and done.

Deadly obvious that we were confused about the minutiae of how to run our own offense without Briles and Co. Our biggest plays were broken plays, we couldn't get the ball to Quick Six in space to save our lives. Defense played inspired ball, and we put on an entertaining show at the end.

New coach has a chance to win right away.

Just got back from the game.

Exciting ending, unfortunately the Coogs couldn't pull it out. The offensive line was pretty bad as the DE Ortiz was just blowing by them the entire game. Dumb penalties and letting TCU convert on 3rd down way too many times.

All in all great atmosphere, exciting game.

I was there. This one is on Briles. The Coogs looked poorly prepared and disorganized. The defense played hard, but the offense looked nothing like they did through the season. I enjoyed the experience, but disappointed in the results.

Glad the Frogs won. It's been a bad year, but not bad enough to lose to UH.

As for the game....I didn't see it. Facking NFL net.

Went to the game. Glad the Frogs won, but UH was an overthrown pass away from OT. That ending was exciting.

While I was at the game, I saw MAYBE 5 plays total.

I spent the entire night running up and down and around the stadium saying hi to friends and clients.

    My legs are garbage today...
