Texans need to take care of the ball. Minnesota is the real deal. They create turnovers, and are extremely physical with the Wide receivers. To the point you could argue a flag every route.
do the same to bradford and don't give them any free points on special teams and it will be a really close game going into the 4th qtr.
Is this the game B0'B and his staff get there heads out of there @$$3$? Probably not but if we don't turnover the ball we should come out with another ugly W!!!
Let's hope the Texans dominance of the Bengals attached itself to Zimmer and the Vikings. Maybe BOB will coach his best game of the year!
If we can limit the turnovers, this will be a low scoring close game. If not, we will lose in a blow out.
Vikings will game-plan to take away the short/intermediate routes... but will leave the deep routes vulnerable as their front 7 will generate enough pressure to mitigate the time it would take for those deep routes to develop. Brock did a better job of taking what the defense was giving them. O-line needs to do step up or it will be a long day of ineffective offense. Their offense does nothing special... OTHER than not turning the ball over. It is quite interesting to note that in this supposed era of offensive/pass-happy excellence... the two undefeated and possible SB contending teams (Denver/Minnesota) happen to be strictly excellent defenses and mistake-free/unspectacular offenses.
I think Patriot game was a vital learning experience for Brock. Take what the defense gives you. At the end of the day, Brock made two bad reads all game against the Titans. The first pick on the move that was a fluky tip, and another one where he threw to hop in the middle of the field and the DB dropped it. Other then that, he has been great with reads. I see an improvement there. The screens he has called to Will Fuller against the Titans/Bears(both audibles). I'm not on the, oh we should have taken Derek Carr train just yet, because Brock does some things that are probably the best we've seen for any Texan QB(fitting balls in tight Windows). Let him develop. I think the Viking game will come to BOB's ability to out coach Zimmer's squad.
In order to not be called a sad sack by Bobby... The Vikings are a bad team... They have to rely on an all world defense and Adrian Peterson monster games to win. Lol, and now that Peterson is out, they have no running game. And they have no quarterback. Not even sure if they have a head coach, tbh. The Texans should easily win this game. Did I do that right?
