I'm thinking of starting Malik Willis for my FF team but I'm not sure if his sack yards lost takes away from the 150 rushing yards he'll get.. Oh yeah .. Easy ugly L 13-6
So my wife just got an offer for up to 4 free tickets in a suite box with free food accommodations thru her work at tomorrows game And we still turned that down... one the roads are icy and slick ...two the Texans aren't inspiring right now ... The funny thing is nobody else wants to take these ticket offers from her work... This is sad any other time I would love to snatch this up but in combination with this crazy weather plus how the team is playing it's just not sensible
For party time, Nashville downtown the strip..for more reserved fun (restaurants and stores, plus music check out the gulch)… I live closer to nolensville , best places to live is Brentwood, nolensville and Franklin - all southwest of the metro area ….if you are in closer to metro, the west side is probably best
https://us.knews.media/news/nashvil...essee-titans-postpone-game-vs-houston-texans/ Nashville mayor John Cooper requests Tennessee Titans postpone game vs. Houston Texans As extreme cold temperatures continue to roll through middle Tennessee, Nashville mayor John Cooper has requested that the Tennessee Titans postpone kickoff of their game Saturday against the Houston Texans in solidarity with city-wide rollbacks on power usage. The Titans (7-7) host the Houston Texans (1-12-1) from Nissan Stadium on Saturday (noon, CBS). Three hours prior to the scheduled kickoff time, the Titans have tarps on the playing surface and are blowing hot air onto the field to try to thaw out the ground. There is scattered ice on the sidelines and near the end zones, but the parts of the playing field that are visible look mostly thawed. The Titans have no comment at this time about the mayor’s statement. The Tennessee Valley Authority has directed local power companies to “reduce load” and have planned intermittent interruptions to power supply due to high demand with sub-freezing temperatures roving through the area. As of publication, the “feels like” temperature at Nissan Stadium sits at negative-1 degrees.
This delay is only for optics because it looks bad to deliver power to a football stadium when you probably have people in Nashville sitting in the cold in their homes without power (a life-or-death situation for some people). Either postpone the game for another day or keep the game at the same time. What difference does an hour make other than keeping the fans at the stadium out in the cold for at least one extra hour?
