Panther's D is a little tougher than the KC D. I'm a little worried about our O-line for this one. If Shaub can hang in there and make them pay for blitzing like he did last week, we can hopefully pull out another W.

When I sat down and looked at this schedule I thought this would be a loss but now I think we have a great shot at a W and if that happens and we start 2-0 I am thinking playoffs!

I was talking to some folks the other day about how great it would be if we were 2-0 and then beat Indy to go 3-0 and how crazy the city would be and then I looked at the schedule and was like crap if we can go 3-0 then we might be freaking 7-0 going into San Diego.

Not saying we are gonna win either of these next two but at Atlanta, home vs Miami, at J-Ville and then the Titans here all seem like wins.

24-21 not sure who is gonna win, I'll be a homer and say the Texans.

My vote was admittedly a "homer" vote. Carolina, by all accounts I've read and heard, is a very good team this year.

Texans win 17-14. Schaub throws a TD to A. Johnson and A. Green breaks into the endzone with his first TD of the season. Finally, Brown nails the FG to win the game. Oh yeah, Super Mario gets another sack and D. Ryans gets 2!

Texans could definitely win...but it is going to take a nearly flawless performance on offense, I think. Flawless in the sense that there can be no turnovers. Andre has to hold on to the ball, Schaub can't make bad decisions, etc. I have confidence that our defense can play well enough to give the offense a chance to win it...but the offense has to come through.

    I'll say 20-17, Texans.

It's not going to be the easiest of games becuase they have good talent on both sides of the ball.

There defense is not a joke and they have some great threats on the offensive side. Delhomme hasn't looked good for a while but our secondary really is going to have their hands full with Steve Smith and company.

I say it's going to be a grind it out game that comes down to the wire.

I don't know the line, but take the under. There's going to be a lot of punts in this game.

    Texans 10 - Carolina 7

The Panther fans talk a lot of trash about the Texans on their fan message board. There are a few Texan trolls posting there, but they don't defend themselves when they are getting smacked!

The screen pass will be an effective way to counter their blitz. I expect a big day from green. Texans win 24- 10

tough game. julius peppers at DE might give our OL some problems. they have a pretty good young secondary and they have depth at running back. our run defense is going to have to put on a repeat performance.

their run defense isnt as good as their pass defense, so we're gonna have to run the ball hard early and let all 3 of ahman, dayne, and samkon beat them into the ground and then run the play action and hopefully that opens up the passing game. either way, their defense is very good all around.

as far as our defense goes, we have to stop deshaun foster and deangelo williams. i dont think there is any way to shut down steve smith with dunta, so hopefully hutchins can help him at FS over the top. our only way to shut down steve smith is for our DLine to break down the pocket.
