FIRST! Texans WIN! The home team has won EVERY game between Tennessee, Jacksonville, Houston. PLEASE, oh, PLEASE, continue this. Houston TEXANS 31 Jax kitties 17 VAMOS, TEXANS!!!
You do realize that this game is in Jacksonville. If the home team winning continues doesn't that mean Jax will win??
When we beat J-ville last month, I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve...
According to Del Rio's comments it appears that Mario will get to chase down Garrard instead of the immobile Leftwich this week. Also said, Stroud will likely be out again in this matchup which is good news for our offense. I'm itching to see Mario blow up the Jaguar offensive line and get a couple of sacks and create havoc in the backfield. Prior to the season I figured a split between these two with the home team each getting wins, but I always hold out hope.
Look the Jags are not as great as some hype them up to be or as the Jags think they are ... that Monday night Pittsburgh game was luck. Steelers should have started Batch instead of Roethlisberger until he got his bearings back. The Jags are not even close to the Colts or the Chargers or the Broncos or the Patriots or the Ravens. They walk around with a proverbial chip on their shoulder. Kind of like the bully back in high school who always had to prove 'how BAD' he was. If Del Rio wasnt winning as much demeanor wise I would think Jerry Glanville had gotten a facelift. Well I think last weeks effort carries over. I think our D is getting better and I say ... Texans 21, Jags 13 ... bite me kitties. Sic em Mario!!!
It will be close. I give the Jags the edge at home. Garrard is a better choice for them. Jags 24 Texans 23
I'm scared of Jax now that they have Garrard at the helm. They have been playing pretty damn good with him.
MAN, WTF, Castor... next time put on there where the game is... Who am I kidding. I eff'd up. Thanks a lot, A-Train... Texans WILL WIN in Jackedupville. 1:23 p.m. on November 12th, 2006, EST: Mr. Garrard, meet Mr. Williams: He's a friend of Daunte Culpepper, Eli Manning, Vince Young, and your buddy Byron Leftwich.
Taylor: Jaguars will win rematch vs. Texans By VITO STELLINO, The Times-Union If it sounds like a guarantee, it must be a guarantee. After running back Fred Taylor said that next week's game against Houston will be a "totally different type of ball game,'' than the Jaguars' 27-7 loss in Houston two weeks ago, he was asked why. "Because we won't lose this time,'' he said. "That's what you wanted, right?'' Taylor then was asked if that was a guarantee. "What did it sound like?'' he responded. Taylor has a lot of motivation for the rematch because his critical third-quarter fumble was a turning point in the first game.... http://www.jacksonville.com/tu-online/stories/110606/jag_6032348.shtml I really do not like them.
