    Thoughts on this game:
Yet another 0 spot allowed in the first quarter. I like it.
The offense should stop trying to make things fancy by trying so hard to run to the right(granted we got a TD on that play). Duane's massive seal block allowed for that monster run in the 4th by Foster.
The team without Foster is garbage....hot garbage. Was the only one doing much of anything.
Take shots down the field more often...I get being conservative with a QB prone to making bad throws, but we really need to open up the playbook for Fitz...down the field.
Utilize the TE...this Dallas team was extremely vulnerable with the seems all game long. The Texans had opportunities.
Watt's whiff of Tony and his Hail Mary throw was a huge play. If they dont make that play, its 3rd and forever down 7-3. And a possibly concused Romo...Watt happened??
Short week..Team is banged up, and depleted on defense. Luck could make things bad...

I wouldn't think so with the short week .. possibly if Fitz continues to look this bad in the indy game we may see him after that .. but I doubt we see him at all until it looks like we are completely eliminated from the playoffs .

That does not tell the whole story, the defense made some huge stops. To let the cowboys have that many yards and still be within 3 is a very big reason to walk away optimistic from this game. The texans takeways are not flukes and they will cause more turnovers this year and that will keep them in games

They were on the field for most of the game thanks to the offense, 90 yards of which came on two plays. Again, not perfect, but well considering the circumstances.

I don't know if Cowboys are a better team, but they definitely made more plays

Get the point already, that ball should have been RUN through foster. Even if you try to throw it to foster you're depending heavily on youre line and fitzpatrick. After the first plays of the posession there is no reason to think foster wouldn't have gotten that 1st down.

Totally agree with you.. I believe 99% of the board is going to agree with you..

I have no problem with the first 3 play calls and even giving foster a rest to let blue take over... The problem as you, I and many others have stated is the 3rd and 2...

Because the crappy offense kept giving the ball back until the defense was exhausted. They only gave up 20 points. That should equal a win 90% of the time.

Surprising, actually. It feels like the texans play road games at home sometimes.

DIdn[t read thread so this might have been mentioned. Overtime, momentum is yours, there must be a 4th and 2 play that you should feel confident with. You have to go for it in that situation.

Romo and the WRs made big plays down the field, something that is sorely lacking with our offense. Why not throw more back shoulder passes to Hopkins? Just take a shot to keep the D honest. Without pushing the ball down the field, the underneath stuff is not open, and Foster will have to run against a stacked box.

Hope they can somehow manage to pull off a surprise on Thursday. Another huge test for the defense.
