    david carr sucks :)

j/k, I actually think the texans can have a shot. indy's d doesn't look like all that.

mario will be a non factor unfortunately, no one gets to peyton so it won't be on him. I want to see him do well but we'll have to wait another week.

The Texans got Mario Williams to defeat the Colts.

    They will.

    Texans - 28
    Colts - 14

Mario Williams will sack Manning twice, at least.

The Colts went into Giants stadium and won, without a running game......hmmm...sound familiar, maybe their QB does not SUCK like the Texans does.

Colts will hammer the Texans.... 41 - 13

Since you have better things to do on Sunday, we know you didn't watch the game. Your credibility is completely shot with this post. David Carr was nowhere near the reason we lost that game.

I watch the games because I have Andre Johnson as a WR on my fantasy league.

My credibility is only shot because I am an unbiased judge on the Texans and you Ostriches do not want to hear any criticism of Houston's Joey Harrington clone (aka David Carr).

David Carr may eventually be a Jake Plummer type of QB some day under Kubiak, but will NEVER warrant the number 1 pick that the Texans used on him, he is just not a quick enough thinker......thus the holding of the ball too long.

Impartial judges like me see his MAJOR flaws, homers like you see potential.....4 years of potential = Jeff George = LOSER !

Indy's never Looks good. . it just *IS* good
They didn't look as they were last year [like top 5 in the league]

I'd be surprised if the Texans win this one

    31 - Indy
    17 - Texans

Then enlighten us on how he lost the game for us as you implied in your original post.

    Thanks.

How many points did the offense he led score?

    10?

He held the ball too long, got a few batted down in crucial situations, but the biggest thing he FAILED to do was inspire his teamates to play better.

He did not generate confidence, and as soon as he started to struggle, you could see the rest of the offense basically go into a "here we go again" mentality.

I think he played OK, not terrible and I certainly do not blame him for the whole loss, but I have watched 4+ years of David Carr, and I still don't see a leader on the football field.....he is just lacking " IT "

I saw more leadership in Vince Young's single series with the Titans (where he through an interception by the goal line) then I did in 4 years of David Carr.

QB is the most important position on a football team, and it is one that requires tremendous leadership qaulities, Carr is just NOT a leader, at least not a good one.

    IMHO, of course.

You dont know what your talking about so just stop posting about the Texans. Carr is a LOT better than Harrington. When he gets protection, he is a very good quarterback. I saw you had mentioned something about how Peyton was avoiding sacks, etc . Well, Carr got sacked in a second a few times in the Eagles game. He had no time to even roll out of the pocket and avoid the sack. It wasnt because he was holding the ball too long. Your statements make me believe that you probably didnt even watch the game. We have had the WORST offensive line in the NFL and you try to blame Carr for their mistakes. The major flaws you see would be corrected if our running back and o line could pick up blitzes, etc. By the way....if David Carr is so bad , then how come every EXPERT on ESPN said that they believe in Carr in this offseason. Your a HATER....not a impartial observer

LOL - the difference is this way.

David Carr comes to the line of scrimmage, snaps the ball and looks to see who is open.

Payton Manning (Or insert any other quality NFL QB here) comes to the line of scrimmage, sees the defense and KNOWS who is going to be open.

Carr can avoid a LOT of those sacks by being able to read the blitz beforehand, check down to a blitz read and react. Also he can role ON HIS OWN, away from the Blitz to buy some time.

The guy is a sitting duck, he has NO CLUE, back there, and yes the line is not good, but to blame it all on the line is simply ignorant.

Don't go down to your back, read the blitz and move your feet......
