I'm in a yahoo standard pro league with 10 owners. We start a QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE. My roster: Aaron Rodgers Adrian Peterson/Ryan Mathews/R.Mendenhall/I.Redman Brandon Marshall/D.Amendola/T.Smith/J.Gordon/A.Jeffery/Sidney Rice I've been offered Tom Brady & David Wilson for Rodgers/Mendenhall. The offer indicated he'd also be willing to add in Wes Welker if I add Amendola. Thoughts?
My friend just accepted. I'm glad he's a huge Cowboys fan but I sort of feel bad. Oh we'll he still has McCoy. I now have Foster and Rice as my top backs. Just need to upgrade 1 WR.
Maybe last year when we had 2 commissioners but I don't think this year unless everyone decides to become a douchebag and vote against it and try to offer better deals. Luckily everyone else is drinking and this trade hopefully sneaks by them.
I would. David Wilson has some good upside, Mendenhall does not. Brady will be just fine, might have to throw a little more in the 4th quarter, compared to Rodgers. Is this PPR or not? That would help to know if you should include Wes/Amendola. Also, Mathews could go down any time, this shores up your RBs in my mind.
Standard scoring. Mendenhall isn't the issue. It's whether the upgrade from Mathews to Wilson is worth the downgrade from Rodgers to Brady.
Since when does voting against a lopsided trade make someone a douchebag? A similar thing happened in one of my leagues. The commissioner traded DeAndre Hopkins and Andy Dalton to his buddy for Kaepernick. Long story short, the commissioner eventually agreed to also give up Hakeem Nicks and reduce the veto requirement from 4 to 2.
I would handcuff Andre Brown a week ahead of his return from injury just to be safe. Brady is Mr Reliable and Wilson has looked like a game changer thus far. I had him as a sleeper last year and he wet the bed when they gave him his shot. No one else to steal carries ATM though. The reward here outweighs the risk
I drafted cobb and j.nelson, in a .5 PPR, but now I dont feel like having 2 WRs for one team, especially green bay where rodgers spreads the ball. I want to trade j.nelson, what should i ask for? T.Y Hilton? F.gore? or those are uneven trades (for either side) my WRs are: Sidney Rice, Jennings, Cobb, Nelson my RBs: D. Martin, Forte, G. Bernand, M. Bush, B. Pierce, R. Mendenhall
Hey guys, wanted to see if I could get a few thoughts on the final team I drafted this past weekend. 10 team ppr league, 4th pick overall. QB - Drew Brees RB - CJ Spiller RB - Steven Jackson WR - Mike Wallace WR - Antonio Brown FLEX - Reggie Bush TE - Jordan Cameron K - Mike Nugent DEF - Browns DEF PLAYER- Luke Kuechly DEF PLAYER- Navarro Bowman Bench TY Hilton Montee Ball Giovani Bernard Kenbrell Thompkins Emmanuel Sanders JJ Watt Once I completed the draft I realized I had the complete Pittsburgh Steelers receiving corps from last season. Also, Yahoo! gave me an A+ I thought that was pretty cool. So, thoughts.
Flash, If I were you, I would have handcuffed Jimmy Graham or Colston with Brees. Also, I am not big on antonio brown, but I do like that you handcuffed him with sanders, so at least you have 2 shots at getting ben's #1. I LOVE the ty hilton pick up, but hate the gio bernard pick up. I am not big on small elusive backs in a timeshare (especially rookie ones). I also don't like the Montee Ball pick up because, if he can't block for peyton he ain't going to be on the field, period. I like Kenbrall Thompkins a lot, however, I would have also tried to get Zach Sudfeld and seen where that would take me. Overall I think you got at least 10 good players as long as none of them get hurt.
I like the upside for Cobb, try to trade Nelson. Looks like you should trade straight up for a WR. Definitely make the offer for TY Hilton, that would be solid. Other guys you could look at: Torrey Smith, Stevie Johnson, Cecil Shorts, Josh Gordon, Tavon Austin, Chris Givens, and Kenny Britt.
I have been offered Tony Romo and Trent Richardson for Peyton Manning and Lamar Miller. Thoughts, CF faithful?
