Provided everybody can stay healthy or get healthy at the right time for the playoffs, they're my pick to win it all. They've surrounded one of the best big men ever with three elite slashers and rugged interior defenders. I doubt anybody will want to see this team once April rolls around.

The Spurs have the talent to win a championship. It depends how much tread TD and Manu have left when the playoffs start and how healthy they stay. IMO, if all contending teams stay healthy, the Spurs are my pick to win it all. I think they have more upside potential than any team in the NBA, Lakers included. But age will probably bite them before it's over.

What is this crap? Just because Nuggets4 (who actually contributes to other threads BESIDES his annual Nuggets thread) makes threads about his team, everyone else does too?? This is a HOUSTON ROCKETS forum. If you want to talk about the Spurs, go to Spurstalk or whatever the name of their lameass forum is. Screw the Spurs, and their spoiled, misinformed fans.

this is the nba dish last time i checked amigo if you have a problem then don't read the thread except seeing spurs stuff spread out in this forum you will just have it all in one thread and it will make it more convient and save space haha
I don't have a REAL problem with the thread, but I also don't expect to see 29 other threads for every team in the NBA in here. I understand that it's the NBA Dish, but it just rubs me the wrong way to see a "Go Spurs Go" on a Rockets website. Go say "WE ARE RED NATION" on the Spurs forum, and see the reaction you get. Trust me, I know TONS of Spurs fans.....their reaction won't be as welcoming as ours.
there is alot of rocket fans on the spurstalk making threads they don't make a big deal because spurs fans actually respect the rockets compared to the mavs who seem to think there the best team in the world after beating the spurs.. its the internet, we have opinions, big deal man spurs and rocket fans should get along and alot of the rocket fans are cool compared to the mavs and lakers fans who always rub spurs fans in the wrong way both in person and online
Trust me on this: There won't be 29 other threads for every other team in the NBA. Don't sweat it. If someone created a thread for each team, all but a few would die quickly. It's likely only the Nuggets thread lasts the entire season. Typically, the Nuggets, Blazers, Cavs, Lakers and a couple other teams get consistent discussion here. I'm actually hoping some dedicated fans keep us updated on more teams than that. I also wouldn't worry about how welcoming other forums would be about discussing the Rockets. The NBA Dish is one of the things that makes Clutchfans great. Rockets fans actually allow intelligent debate about other teams here. Let's keep that up. It's a compliment to us when they want to discuss their teams with Rockets fans. It's why Clutchfans is the best NBA forum in existence. On the other hand, when homers for teams start posting inflammatory stuff, they will get burned to a crisp.
Ditty this plan of bringing old dudes to win a title when the window of opportunity is closing rapidly has been tried before. The Spurs will not even get a chance to smell the title this year. Good luck being a Spurs fan this season when the walls start to crumble. GO ROCKETS GO!!!!
