Saints have been up and down this season. They started 0-4 before getting 4 straight wins. Then they get pounded by the previous winless Rams.

Saints going into another swoon. Texans at home. Andre and Schaub are back (right?). We've had 2 weeks to prepare. We had our best rushing game of the season last game.

    Texans 24
    Saints 17

I'll be at the game and keeping my out for trouble in Reliant. If ever there was a situation ripe for fights to break out, this is it.

You've got the open sore that is Reggie Bush (similar to all the Vince Young jerseys invading Reliant).
You've got the proximity to NO.
You've got all of the former LA residents now in Houston.
You've got underlying tension between Houston and Louisiana from the evacuation.

I don't want to see it, but if the Saints jump on us and their fans start jawing a little too much......

    Yikes.

    Go Texans.

Bush is questionable at this point due to a possible concussion against the Rams. I don't think it matters because he really has done little this season. When they've won, it's been due to Brees and Colston getting back on track.

With a healthy AJ and Schaub, I believe we'll see the Texans of weeks 1 & 2.

    Andre's Back!!!!!

    Texans 28 - 'Aints 7

Reggie Bush runs in a touchdown from the 1 on his third try. That's the only highlight shown.

I may have two extra tickets to the game (Lone Star Club, I believe) ... anyone interested?!? I'll be coming in from Dallas Sunday morning so we'd have to arrange something off-line. Hit me up through the board's e-mail feature.

Hoping to see a Texans win on my birthday to get back to .500!

This will be the biggest win in Texans history, they will be 500 after ten games and we can go into the final third of the season with not only hope for a winning season but hope for a playoff birth.

With a little help the Texans can be 1 game out of a playoff spot with game against the team ahead of them (Tenn/Jax/Cleveland)

I'm concerned about the secondary stopping these guys.

Well, their secondary is worse. Here are some of their NFL pass defense rankings.

    Yards Per Attempt - 32nd (8.29)
    Yards Per Game - 29th (251.2)
    Passing TD's Allowed - 29th (17)
    Interceptions - T28th (6)
Opponents QB Rating - 32nd (100.4, only team in the league over 100)

With Schaub and AJ back, their D is toast.

Have they made any changes to the offensive line? Is Ahman Green healthy? Who replaced Robinson, again?

I think Johnson is going to have a big day.

Swoly, Schauby will be back with his big kahuna, AJ. The battle will be whose secondary sucks more? My bet is despite our best efforts this year, it will be the Saints sucking more in pass coverage. So, put simply get in Brees' grill early and often and we should not only beat them but, blow them out. Mario gets some payback for overrated Reggie and yes, Okoye means "fear" in Nigerian (Swahili, I think) which is what the Saints will know early and often.

With AJ back, also our running game is back because they HAVE to double team AJ to keep this game halfway respectable. So, the LBs and the Free Safety will have their work cut out for them to contain our running game and they don't have the horses like NE, GB, etc.

I said 5-4 at the break would've been if either the damn ATL fiasco or the near miraculous comeback over Tenn would've happened. All things considered we aren't in too bad of shape except for losing Dunta. Damn that hurts.

    Texans 45, Saints 20.

Green is going to play. Von Hutchins will start at corner, with Fred Bennett who takes Robinson's spot. Will Demps starts at safety for Hutchins.

Very interesting. Poor Petey. He gets benched vs. Oakland for the rook and can't even get back a starting job when Dunta goes down. Let this be a lesson boys and girls: DON'T SUCK!
