Please keep this to talk about the series. As usual no Play-by-Play, or general Astros talk. If you need play by play see one of the many other sites that have game casts.

6-18 Scott Feldman, RHP (4-6, 5.28) vs. Wandy Rodriguez, LHP (3-9, 5.60) 7:05 on FSH

6-19 Colby Lewis, RHP (6-4, 3.30) vs. Brian Moehler, RHP (0-3, 6.32) 6:05 on FSH

    6-20 C.J. Wilson, LHP (5-3, 3.48) vs. Felipe Paulino, RHP (1-8, 4.50) 1:05 on FSH

The Silver Boot is quite possibly one of the most pointless trophies in existence.

Rangers seem to get atleast one blowout of the astros every season. 15-2 or 14-3 somewhere around there.

The talking heads on Dallas radio today are positively giddy at the prospect of a Rangers sweep. I can't see much reason to refute this at all and I've about reached my fill on the Silver Boot jokes.

Our pitching staff has given up 48 runs and counting in the last 6 games.

No he's the epitome of a team-first kind of guy that has the best interest of the team at heart.

He's just taking the dive so we get a better draft pick.

What I think happened to him is that he got frustrated with the arbitration process or something to that effect (ala Darryl Kile). His body language on the mound just makes him seem so apathetic to everything thats going on. I would be surprised to see him wearing an Astros uniform next year.

    Hilarious post though...

Phillies just DFA Scott Mathieson. I saw him pitch before and he can hit triple digits. He is 26 years old and had very good numbers at AAA this year. He couldn't be any worse than Chris Sampson, Casey Daigle, or Jeff Fulchino. He is the type of arm you go after because of his upside.

    Lance Berkman -

    Avg .242 HR 6 RBI 28 Runs 22 OPS .738 Slugging .389

Almost 3 months into the season, I am official worried. Lee and Puma have both been horrible this season and while we keep THINKING and EXPECTING for them to explode it doesn't look like it might happen for either of them.

How much longer till we blow up this team!?

    Berkman sucks!
    Lee sucks!
    Wandy has always SUCKED!!!
Bourn is starting to suck at the plate again!

The only positive is Keppinger. He's been doing great.

    Smoak beasting on us.

The AVG ain't there yet but he walks a lot and definitely has a ton of power in that nice-looking swing, from both sides of the plate.

Don't want to look up the splits right now, but I believe I heard on one show he is hitting great from the leftside, but hitting Mendoza level from the right. Kind of like Berkman the last couple of seasons, but a little worse.
