I think maybe I have figured Jimy's strategy out. Let the starter go 6 then bring Lidge,Dotel and Wagner in in the 7th,8th,9th. It seems to be working fine.
Jeriome really battled today. I was waiting for Jimi to pull him much earlier, but to his credit, he left him in there and Robo held the fort. Our bullpen is scary good. I have no problem replacing Dotel and/or Lidge with Stone.
That is awesome. We do have a great bullpen, I just wish there was a good starter(s) to join them. Don't wanna tire them out. Isn't it usually opposite for other teams? Great to see the bullpen hold on for the wins. Damn....How do you guys do it?! (the ones who do that is...) great start for the stros. An rbi single, then a walk in run. I love it. Perfect start for the game, love it when the opponent's pitcher is being roughed up in the first inning.
