It's going to be hard for Fox Houston to blow the doubleheader schedule this time. They will obviously show NO@ATL opposite Texans/Bucs and either NYC@SFO or DET@CHI is fine with me as the late game. Sunday night is another stellar choice and MNF has Aaron Rodgers.

Lions/Bears is gonna be nasty, Saints will beat the Falcons, Boys will handle the Bills and Steelers will bounce back and beat the Bengals.

only good thing about the steelers coming to cincy, the game sold out already last week. mainly because steelers fans will make the trip and fill the stadium. so no blackout.

also a question, how much is it for a ticket to the worst seat in the house at other stadiums? i think the bengals charge 60 dollars for the worst seat/nose bleeds in the stadium. seems kind of steep no? maybe thats common...but man, crazy.

I was excited that a brilliant offensive mind like Hue Jackson had been elevated to Head Coach at the beginning of the season.

Since the passing of Al Davis he has mortgaged the future, pissed off the current players by cutting popular locker room guys and bringing in "his guys", and benched certain starters in last week's game without giving much as an explanation.

It is looking more and more each day like Jackson has taken the reigns and tried to be a powerful figure like Al, but he's on completely different sides of the spectrum. Al Davis earned his power by building franchises, competing with the NFL, and putting together rosters that garnered 5 Super Bowl Appearances and 3 Lombardi trophies.

I understand the need for Hue Jackson to try and run the team the way Al did, to try and fill a void, but he simply doesn't have the respect of the players and the rest of the coaching staff and it will only backfire on him horribly.

I am extremely disappointed in the changes that have been made over the past couple of weeks.

The only thing that will vindicate his power-grab at this point is wins on the football field.

    Color me skeptical.

Palmer won't gel... McFadden won't return to form and the team will finish 6-10ish and not even get a draft pick to show for it.

DET @ CHI and NO @ ATL are going to be great games. Both have huge playoff implications.

Gonna go out on a limb and say the Lions miss the playoffs.

This is almost a threadworthy subject by itself, but who do you have as NFC wild cards?

Anyone else can chime in too.

Right now.. I truly believe it's between 3 teams -- ATL, Chicago, and Detroit. Chicago looks better than Detroit to me. Detroit started out well... but Chicago's defense looks like its pretty solid and their offense just improving each week (their secondary still needs work). I still think Detroit can take the other WC spot but they would have to keep playing like they did to start off the season. Atlanta's the team I just can't tell if they're truly a playoff team or not. They've been so inconsistent -- I think at the end of the day it may cost them a WC spot. So Right now, I'd have both Chicago and Detroit as the two WC spots in the NFC.

I think it's going to be a 3 way scrum between Chicago, Detroit and Atlanta. I can't see the Lions making it with such a brutal schedule. I think that them losing the tiebreaker to Atlanta will end up costing them the wildcard, as I think both teams will end up around 10-6.

Except when he visits Houston. I hope he comes over the middle (unlikely) and get's the Cushing treatment.

He did make one of the most spectacular catches I have ever seen though.

I hope so, it would set up a nice game at Reliant for us.

I wonder if it will be enough time for Manning to return. They will test us downfield for sure.

The Falcons have good talent but Julio Jones might be the playmaker they need to put fear into opponents. The guy had "NFL" stamped on him from day 1 as a freshman at Alabama.

Former Texans TE Anthony Hill signed with the Colts today. He was on the Eagles practice squad this year.

When you talk about building a bully and then get curb stomped in your division back to back by The Christ Child and Matt Cassel then sorry... you're nothing but a bunch of hot air.

I have completely flip-flopped on the team. When Campbell was starting and McFadden was healthy we were playing well for the most part. Jackson was calling innovate plays, taking risks when the time was right. Now that he doesn't have Al to reign him I get the feeling he's gone mad with power.

I have no problem with Hue shaking things up, but the run defense is still ****ing horrendous and whatever he's done to take care of the penalty problem has clearly backfired as they are on pace to shatter every record for penalties in a season.

Nothing has changed. They are no different than when Norv Turner was here. Undisciplined and erratic.

My hope has turned right back into cynicism.

If you're an amateur talent evaluator as I am, you could see Jones had the size-speed combo for instant NFL success even as a rookie.

He had a few too many drops at Bama, but that never stopped T.O. from dominating.
