Man, I am pumped like no other draft before. Lots of wheeling and deeling hopefully. Chargers are on the clock. If I were them, I would stick it to Eli and draft him anyway. But thats just me...........Im spiteful like that.

This is my favorite day in all of sports-- and I have to miss it. My wife is working and I have two birthday parties to take the kids to.
I think they'll draft him, wait to see who the Giants select and then work out a trade to send Manning to NY and get the New York's selection plus others. Two UA players are expected to go in the first round though, Andrews and Carroll so that's good and it looks like Carroll may even be headed to the Eagles.
I'm hyped, too. Although I'd love for those whiny players to get what they deserve, I don't think the Chargers are in the position to "waste" their #1 pick when they are SO BAD. Really, I think they need to trade down and get Gallery. He seems like the surest bet of all in this draft, and OL guys usually have the longest careers. Regardless, should be fun!
Forget that mess, I'm sure that your kids would benefit more from learning about the NFL draft than playing pin the tail on the donkey. Also, your wife should know better than to work on Draft Day. Very nice tribute to Pat Tillman. Kiper and all the other "draft guru's" are a bunch of blow-hards. I get so tired of hearing how some player won't get drafted high because he ran the 40 in 4.5 instead of 4.3. I can't believe those idiots make money doing what they do. I remember when the Colts drafted Dwight Freeney, all the 'experts' were laughing at what a dumb pick it was.
15 minutes is ridiculous. They could cut that in half easily. Basically it means that we are going to have to listen to these jackos blab over and over and over.
I'd just take Gallery. He's a great player and a good character guy. Hell I wish there was any way possible the Texans could get Gallery. But wishing does not make it so...
