My tentative plans right now are to Leave good ol' Podunk Lompoc at the end of May and arrive in Texas in early June, I plan to stay roughly 7-8 weeks scoping out the various areas and scouting for possible permanent desinations as I am considering moving here in the fall. I will be staying with my best friend and his wife in McKinney Texas for the first week or so, Then I plan on visiting another friend in Marshall Texas for a few more days. My goal right now is to arrive in Houston somewhere around the weekend of June 16th-18th and spend a good part of a month getting to see the sights (maybe a few Stros games if the #houstonrockets crew drags me there) Here's where YOU can Help. Since I am an absolute free-loader and obscenely lazy, You may actually have a chance to host moestavern19 for a night or possibly even 2! If you have a couch I can crash on for 1 night and maybe a toilet thats all I need and would greatly be appreciated. It would be just sooo uber-kewl to meet a lot of you since I've made fun of so many of you but have never been able to put an ugly face to an obscure moniker. hey moe! Dfin, you know you're my boy, and I'd love to offer up my place to stay but I don't think I have a bed that can accomodate your Raider-fan spiked shoulder pads and Darth Vadar helmet. Seriously, though, I probably wouldn't be able to sell the wife on the "have a guy I've never officially met before stay at the house for a night or two", but I definitely would like to get together when you are in the Houston area...maybe play some bball and get our flow on to any random passersby.
