    I'm still bitter about 1986. I still hate Ray Freaking Knight and Keith Hernandez, and most of all Fred ****lander.

    That said, the Mets are obviously the better team this year. So, after this three game set is up I wish them the best. I'm still not sold on the Astros making the postseason--but in my heart I hope for the following:

    --Astros pass StL for the division crown. (not gonna happen)
    --Mets win 100+ games
    --Astros take out WC champion SD in 3
    --Astros, on the 20th anniversary of one of the best NLCS in history, DESTROY THE DAMN METS in 4.

    Not gonna happen. But a guy can dream.

    If in fact the Astros do not make the postseason, I hope the Mets are swept out of round one b/c I hate those bastards. :D

    two out of their three starters this weekend are coming off injuries... they probably wont last more than 5 innings... our bats will catch fire and we will take two out of three...
