Hillary is blowing Obama the F out in Kentucky tonight -- she could win by over 35 points in Kentucky. That's what I don't get -- if he truly is the guaranteed nominee, then why are voters voting against him 2 to 1 in these recent primaries? Hillary now has the popular vote lead against him. Obama continues to struggle mightily with working class whites -- a key demographic due to its size. Bittergate, charges of sexism, his wife, and his pastor continue to weigh heavily on voters. Large, very large chunks of the electorate believe he shares the values of his pastor, Jeremiah Wright. Large, large chunks of the electorate are claiming they will vote for the 'conservative democrat' John McCain in the General.

How does Obama rebound from this? Can he? Embarrassing results for Obama, given his money, media adoration, and momentum...

Eighty-nine percent of Tuesday's voters in Kentucky were white, according to the exit polls. Among them, Clinton won 72-22 percent. Nine percent of the voters were African-American and they overwhelmingly broke for Obama, 87-7 percent.

Thanks for those stats, SJC. The alleged post-racial candidate seems to have quite a race problem on his hands. If he is a uniter, why doesn't Obama just go unite those people? Just go unite them, Obama.

Same reasons McCain lost Kansas and Louisiana after he was determined to be the nominee on Super Tuesday, but Huckabee was still in the race.

I am amazed that apparently, for people of black and white color, the color of a candidate's skin seems to be THE determining factor for how they'll vote. Isn't that a rather sad state of affairs? Ideally, shouldn't the color of someone's skin not even matter at all?

Obama united McCain's media advisor today:

McCain adviser steps down to avoid working against Obama

(CNN) — John McCain’s chief media adviser said Tuesday he is stepping down rather than campaign against Barack Obama.

Mark McKinnon said last year that he would leave McCain’s campaign after the primary season if the Arizona senator were to run against Obama.

The Illinois senator is not the Democratic nominee, but he has accumulated a significant lead in the number of delegates required to claim the nomination.

In a 2007 interview with Cox News, McKinnon said he would vote for McCain, but "I just don't want to work against an Obama candidacy." He added that if Obama were to reach the White House, it "would send a great message to the country and the world."

The McCain campaign says McKinnon will remain a “major supporter” of the McCain’s presidential bid.

I thought McCain was still losing votes to other Republican nominees and he is the only guaranteed nominee so far.

The exit polls are pretty telling: Most people don't give a **** about the presidential candidate's policies, they're just voting based on skin color. Although in the very liberal states, white males are voting for Obama roughly 60% of the time.

I'm confused though, how come latino males and females favor Clinton 75% of the time in most states? What Clintons -latino connection am I not aware of here.

Don't tell me you don't remember how Hillary Clinton actually spent her childhood summers in border towns, playing hop scotch with the local kids, learning to make nopalitos, and rubbing the harsh, grainy sand from her eyes. She grew up everywhere, living the life of the ordinary man which, of course, outweighs her Wellesley education and Walmart executive status. What does any of that matter when she's just as good at singing Juana la Cubana as she is at taking shots with the miners? As Hillary has made clear during this campaign, she is everybody and Barack Obama is everybody else.

"They had flowery meadows and rainbow skies, and rivers made of chocolate, where the children danced and laughed and played with gumdrop smiles."

is this result a shocker to anyone? one of the more racists states in the nation voting based on race.
