I've been saying it since the day the "Disgruntled Lowry" article was written... Lowry is the best option at PG for the Rockets.

Hopefully now the Rockets commit to him and move forward with him as the starter.

I would love to keep Lowry. He's better than Dragic, Lin, Livingston, or any other realistic PG option. It's just a matter of him wanting to be here/having the right attitude. He was an all-star at the beginning of the season. Great ball distributor, improved shot, drives hard, and plays tough nosed D.

I agree, Lowry should have a good season. His disgruntled attitude was his way to deal with Dragic having a very good ending to last season and also him not being happy that this organization would potentially pay more for his supposed backup.

Few months later, his competitor has signed with Phoenix. Livingston might be the backup, so life is good.

If Lowry wants to get paid like Rondo or better next contract, he's gotta show he can deal with competition, rumors and just go out and play!

With a healthy Lowry, PG will not be a weakness unless he gets injured.

After all of this crap, I'd take Lowry over McHale.

    +1.

I don't think Lowry was ever the problem.

If we somehow get Lin and sell off Lowry for more "assets" and flexibility, I will be incredibly disappointed. We will have a lot of damage control to do with Kyle but he needs to be our starter next season unless we are just going to tear it all down and rebuild.

Lowry is one of few tough players in our team. We already lost a bunch of them. Keep your team tough, keep the players playing like a man..

I want to keep Lowry, but if Lin is signed, then how can we have both Lin and Lowry?

I don't think Lowry is as good as he thinks he is, but here I agree 100%, I think Lowry has a better basketball mind than McHale.

Did I say that? I said he thought the offense made it harder to win. On that point I do agree with him, but not how he handled it. We got some W's, but I think we definitely left a lot on the table.
