I would personally like to see if Joe Biden can draw a clock on a piece of paper with the hour and minute hand pointing to the right time. If he can’t, then that’s a problem.

History will remember this as the night Trump lost the election. To President Newsom.

Newsom is human garbage. Trump is too but he's unfortunately the most viable candidate. That was really bad for Biden. I'm not going to make fun of him because I feel bad for him

It's quite sad that Americans are forced into believing in a bi-partisan system and a man like Biden and Trump are the best either side can put front and center. It was clear years ago Biden was a senile old man and now it's like he's recently suffered a TIA or diagnosed with alzheimer's. They basically handed the victory to one of the most egotistical, corrupt, extremist presidents ever.

It is quite humorous though, Trump is just standing there, basically like a brother commenting on his older bro spewing nonsense. He doesn't even to say anything to win since Biden is digging his own grave. Btw, if anyone sees a meme or gif or clip with Biden going from handicap 6 to 8 with the scene from Home Alone 2 "How many fingers am I holding up Marv" to which he responds "uuuuuhhh 8?" then please do. It would fit perfectly!

from the NYT article linked above:

“Biden is about to face a crescendo of calls to step aside,” said a veteran Democratic strategist who has staunchly backed Mr. Biden publicly. “Joe had a deep well of affection among Democrats. It has run dry.”

“Parties exist to win,” this Democrat continued. “The man on the stage with Trump cannot win. The fear of Trump stifled criticism of Biden. Now that same fear is going to fuel calls for him to step down.”

A group of House Democrats said they were watching the debate together, and one, who spoke on the condition of anonymity, acknowledged that it was a “disaster” for Mr. Biden. The person said the group was discussing the need for a new presidential nominee.

I’m not happy at all with Biden’s performance but I don’t think it’s absolute disaster or am
I falling into complete panic. Mainly because whether Biden continues or is removed from the ticket this is completely out of my hands and as someone who’s been a donor and campaigner but not a national delegate there is nothing I can do about it either way.

What I can do and will continue to do is to speak out on the issues and do my part to live my values rather than just bellyache online.
