The year hasn't gone the way we would've liked, but I think the guys rally around Coach Kubiak and finish off the year strong. Plus, anytime you combine playing on Monday Night and beating the Jags, it's a good day in my book. Here's hoping for a BIG push next year that continues on for many, many years. Texans 38 Jags 28
I think we get this one and next week in Green Bay, so wit 7-7 on the line vs the Titans we will see what this team is made of
ESPN has to be loving this game. Two teams battling for last place in the division. This game has ratings clunker written all over it. With that said, I heard that Mike & Mike will be in H-Town on Monday. So it looks like ESPN will try and promote the game a little bit. I hope the Texans come out and play well in their first ever Monday night game. They need to throw the ball to Andre as many times as possible. Texans 30 Jaguars 19
If Sage doesn't play like he's lost his mind, the Texans should take this game. The Jags are in collapse mode. I hope it's a blowout so we can see Jack Del Rio blow a gasket on the sideline.
or punt fakes. or one of those pop warner plays where the qb walks to the coach pretending somethings wrong with the ball and runs down the sideline. HOU- 20 JAX- 17
Yeah...ESPN must really be kicking themselves over this one. I think the Texans have a legitimate shot at winning this game. The players should be pumped for their first Monday night game. Too bad they'll look like clowns in the red shirt/red pants combo. Sage has to limit himself to three picks...
Jags are sucking hard. They're 1-4 in their last 5 with the lone win coming against the Lions. They're 0 for Ohio, losing to Cleveland and giving Cincinnati their only win of the season. Texans should win. That said, it's the Texans.
schaub to suit up for backup duty. I hope we can win, just keep a spy surveilling garrard. Oh yeah, remember that it's okay to waste a timeout in the first half.
No link because I am on my phone, but chron.com has an article saying that schaub might start on monday. Nice to hear he is feeling good, a quick recovery. AJ is happy to have matt back.
Okay, I don't know where to post this. I'm watching the Colts vs. Browns. The Browns were punting from their endzone and I think the announcers mentioned if the Colts fair catch the punt they could attempt a free kick for 3 pts. WTF?!? Can someone explain this rule?
If you fair caught a ball, you have the option of free kicking for a FG. Someone tried to do it last week, I think the Cards maybe. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_catch_kick
i've been watching football my entire life and i have never heard of this until last week. now i've seen/heard about it in three different games since then. weird. texans will dominate the jags on mnf. the crowd will be into it considering it's our first mnf game and the jags really are on a downward spiral. texans are going to end up 8-8 again.
