    I've seen other places mention this, so I'll clear it up here before anyone asks: no, Yao Ming is not on the list. Yes, he is in the draft. Why? Because he was born in 1980 and under the NBA's foreign-entry rules, he is automatically eligible to be selected. The only "early-entry" that he had to go through was to get out of China.

    also, guys like David Andersen, Juan Carlos Navarro, Luis Scola, Jiri Welsch, and Bostjan Nachbar are in the draft for the same reason.

    I hope a lot of these guys haven't signed with agents so they can go back. No telling who's whispering sweet nothings (sorry, spirit of Fran rose up like a cow in the field going mooo...) into Kevin Gaines' ear.

    Man, the NBDL is going to be one competitive league next year.

    It's more likely that Gaines' decision is based on the fact that UH won't let him come back.
