Geeze I hate this guy. A Talking Hairdoo, with Boring Style. Probably a Nightline Reject. His time has come and gone. He relys on a retired MLB sidekick for all his entertainment value.
I am soo glad that I will no longer have to lift a finger to change the dial when this losers time slot comes upon my workday.

    DING!
    Your Outta Here!!! :D

    +1

Chance, what's hilarious is that he loved that ghey-ass Boston "We Believe" song...

Maybe if he knew about the other songs you've made before, he wouldn't have been such an ass about it.

Anyway, I won't miss him. Dibble especially. That guy = teh sux0rs.

I can get ESPN Radio through my Sirius if I ever need it. I'll stick w/ 610, thx u very much.

When does Tony Kornheiser come on? I remember hearing his show a few times and thinking it was funny. Especially when he makes fun of Rome.

Proof again there is a god! How he ever got a job on the radio I'll never know. I've been to more interesting job interviews than the "entertainment" interviews he does. I really don't think he knows what he's going to talk about and just make stuff up. Good move ESPN. He was good on SportsCenter and sucked major ass on the radio.

Rome is great doing interviews. Other than that, he's tolerable in small, well spaced out doses.

TK stopped doing radio months ago.

He was replaced by the horrible Colin Cowherd.

If the new 2-4 is ok, i'll listen.

but during Rome's timeslot (11-2), I'll be all over DP from 12-2

He stepped down from his radio show. He was absolutely the best. "Shill so classic."

Regarding Dan Patrick: I can't handle three straight hours of sports talk. Especially if they involve call-ins. There's only so much you can discuss about anything before it starts getting repetitive. That's why I don't hate Dan Patrick like some of the other people on this board. He doesn't have call-ins unless they are cracking a joke, which I like because I like to listen to the radio for analysis from guys that are more articulate and knowledgable than your average fan. I absolutely can't stand the "Joe-Blow calls in" shows.

And I usually like listening to National programs over local programs. They have a larger range of discussion, and give me better insight into sports in general. Also, since I listen to the radio on my computer at work, I really like ESPN's online setup. They archive the shows for on-demand listening for 24 hours, so I can listen to the show without all the dead air breaks.

Oh and BTW, Kornheiser's "internet show" where they would leave their mikes on during the commercial breaks, so the internet audience could hear those guys talking behind the scenes, was just about the greatest show in radio history:

    1. Orson Welles' rendition of War of the Worlds
    2. The Tony Kornheiser Internet Show

    That's it, that's the list.

Just my two cents on this whole Dan Patrick/ESPN radio thing.

TK's internet show is what lead to his demise.

It was the reason he went on "vacation" a few years back.

Dropping s-bombs, even on the Internet, is frowned upon.

I agree. But I told him it was trouble, but he's too stubborn to listen.

It WAS my favorite part of the show though, especially when Willy Buns would call in and give his "take" on what they just talked about.

    Willy is an angry man!
