I figured since I had nothing better to do tnite I'd fire this thing up.

    Pitching Probables:

    6-06-- Beirbrodt (0-2, 8.13) vs. Robertson (4-3, 6.08)

    6-07-- Reyes(0-2, 6.75) vs Johnson (0-1, 4.05)

    6-08-- Gonzales (2-1, 3.00) vs. Redding (3-4, 3.70)

I still haven't heard the final word on Redding yet he may not be the Sunday starter.

Fearless Prediction: Aubrey Huff will be ejected for using a corked bat. D-Rays first base coach will come to his rescue claiming the bat actually belongs to relief pitcher Dave Smith.

Astros will own the 5th best record in major league baseball by the end of this series.

Those Pitching Probables look ugly for the D-Rays. We should mash this team like we did the Orioles.

    Win.
    Win.
    Win.

Damn.... you really have to love and hate this unbalanced interleague play. We get 6 games against the O's and D-Rays but then we get 6 against the Yanks and Red Sox.... yikes!!

It just makes these three against the Ray's that much more important. I also feel like we should be expecting the Astros to win at least 4 out of those 6 games against the AL east leaders.

Indeed it is. If you show up at the gate wearing a wife beater tshirt, you get in free. ;)

Should be a nice 3 game sweep no doubt. And by the end of the weekend we will be in first place ALONE.:)

The D-Rays, for all their ineptitude, do have some really exciting young players. Definitely keep an eye on OF's Rocco Baldelli, who may be the fastest player in MLB, and hometown boy Carl Crawford. These guys have the talent to be perennial all-stars for the next 15 years or so.

The Astros and Aramark have denied a rumor that all Miller & Bud products will be replaced with Schlitz and Falstaff.

Here's hoping for a split when we swagger into Yankee and Fenway next week.

Pssst. He plays for the Rays now...

You know I think that fans should not only wear wife beaters, but do what came to me in a dream last night -- thrown them on the field and give him the chants of "Batidor de la Esposa"

I think he will enjoy the homecoming.

I wouldn't be so scared if we didn't have to play in Yankee Stadium and in Fenway for 6 straight games. Maybe it'll help build up our our playoff intensity... there's no substitute for playing in front of a packed house.

I hope I won't get bashed, cuz I think i'm gonna cheer him tommorow. He hasn't been convicted, and I think we shouldn't have released him before he was. Plus, he did well for us.
