    Lol at the Cubs, they won a few games against the struggling cards and their starting to "believe" and think they can pull an "05' astro"....nothing better than beating the cubs, especially when they think their playing for something

    Last night the guy said they were 9 games out. I thought to myself, are they trying to say the Cubs still have a chance? Cubs suck, but given the pitching matchups for this series, I figure the Astros will be lucky to take 1. Heres to hoping though.

    Not exactly earth-shattering news, but I just wanted to reaffirm that Carlos Lee, at this stage in his career, sucks and is a complete waste of 20 million dollars/year.

    There was a lady in the crowd tonight that had a sign reading "Every girl wants a pony but I want El Caballo!"

    She wasn't very attractive but I wonder if he would waive his NTC for her and if she can afford his contract. We don't even want any prospects in return.

    I don't get it. I know I'm still a young Stros fan (circa 1991), but I've always detested the Braves and Cards more than the Cubs.

    The Cubs are hated because they are the Cubs. They have douches for fans. They are all over the national media despite their historical suckiness. Now they spend a tone to achieve their suckiness. They have guys like Zambrano and Soriano that make them so easy to root against, and laugh at when Zambrano blows up, or Soriano drops a ball while skipping.
