All series talk goes in here. DO NOT GIVE PLAY-BY-PLAY! If you need PBP try Yahoo, ESPN, or Sportsline.

They have to sweep this series. Pettitte needs to win. Hopefully, the defense will play a little less like little leaguers this time.

Roger will get his first win tonight as the rookie Marmol will fade under the glare...

Roy will continue his mastery of the Cubs.

Is anyone else a little disappointed that Garner didn't take more advantage of his position as NL All-Star manager? I'm sure no one would complain about Biggio over the rookie Dan Uggla. What's the point of doing it if you aren't going to bring more than 1 of your guys?

40-42 is not so hot, but we are far from out of it....gonna watch closely how they play coming out of the all star break, should tell a lot about the rest of the year.

    Marmol?

Never heard of them. Looks like another 1-0 loss for The Rocket.

    :p

WLW. Andy continues to suck and Prior dominates the Stros.

It is a little dissapointing but I think I respect Garner more for not brining in more of his guys because he tried to be fair. Look at what Ozzie did, leaving off Liriano for Buerhle. That's an outrage.

He has pitched 2 innings against the Astros this year. He is a rookie though, so the Astros are doomed.

WWL. Bullpen will blow the lead for Roy.
As far as Garner not picking more Astros, I think he just wants to give Biggio some rest. He has been really careful with Biggio this year giving him time off when ever he can. I still think Lance Berkman deserves a starting spot in the outfield, if Pujols is at first base. He is a better player than all three starting outfielders for the NL.

Whats up with Burke? Garner just being cautious? He owns the Cubs..

Probably giving him the day off since he's 1-16 in his last four games.

With Ensberg being Iceberg here lately , they should play "Ice Ice Baby" when he comes to the plate .

Wilson's poor defense never fails to amaze me. He was sitting there waiting for that ball and he still missed it.

Clemens is not hitting his spots tonight. He'll be lucky to get out of the 5th at this rate.
