Please keep this to talk about the series. As usual no Play-by-Play, or general Astros talk. If you need play by play see one of the many other sites that have game casts.

8-30 Jake Westbrook, RHP vs. J.A. Happ, LHP 7:05 on FSH

8-31 Chris Carpenter, RHP vs. Wandy Rodriguez, LHP 7:05 on FSH

9-1 Jeff Suppan, RHP vs. Nelson Figueroa, RHP 1:05 on FSH

Sweep. Always good to beat the Cardinals, and I really like how those pitching matchups fall. Now if Pujols could just strain a groin in the first inning and miss the rest of the series.

I saw a Cards fan Lamar and Travis in downtown.

    Thought about kicking his ass.

Cards are scuffling, saw them in Pittsburgh and they looked like an average team at best. We could actually put them out of their misery, at least for the central, with a sweep or even 2 out of 3.

maybe pujols and larussa have too much on their minds what with them attending the glenn beck rally this weekend.

The Cardinals are a good team for the Stros to emulate though. Just win 50 games all year and go to the World Series and take it :)

CJ has had a couple of awful looking strikeouts in the past few games. I wonder if he's still feeling ill.

    Meanwhile, Wallace is 2-for-2 tonight.

B-Wall 3-for-3. Crushed that last one for an RBI 2B, scoring CJ.

I keep hearing and reading how Happ's numbers aren't as good as they appear but so far he has been solid to great in his career.

    Wallace's coming out party?

A huge insurance run. Hopefully we get Wallace home to.

Every time we've played the Cards this season, it seems like Brendan Ryan has made at least one horrible play.

    Bad luck, too.

We've scorched some balls that were hit right to people, like Castro there.

In the last inning, Westbrook missed his spot and Lee crushed it but right at Feliz.

3-0 lead and a decent chance of avoiding Albert and Holliday, like our chances.

Forgot for a minute that this is the team that drafted Wallace. Good night to have his best game, offensively.
