    Talk about the series here.

    Pitching Probables
    5-20 -- Stephenson (3-2, 4.20) vs. Miller (1-5, 5.40)

    5-21 -- Williams (5-0, 2.21) vs. Munro (3-1, 3.95, all in relief)

    5-22 -- Tomko(2-2, 3.88) vs. Robertson (1-3, 7.57)

Fearless prediction- Rick Ankiel shows up and incites a bench clearing brawl by hitting one of the Astros in the on-deck circle.

    I hate the Cards.

    I'm going Wednesday.

Did I mention I hate the Cards? Seriously...I do. It's quite unhealthy.

Ditto on all of the above.

I'm going with a HUGE Cards fan, one of us will be extremely pissed off after the game.

Astros will win 2 of 3, losing the game that Munro starts. That makes me angry, because I like Munro and I think he will eventually become a good starting pitcher. It's just that everytime Woody Williams pitches at Minute Maid Park, he wins, and he usually has at least 50 friends & family members in the stands cheering him on.

Look, I like Craig Biggio and all, but he is too damn slow to be playing CF. He also has no arm for the outfield, so everyone takes the extra base on him.

I love Bigg, but he is finished as an above average ML'er. He does give all he has left every time, though, I give him that.

Dump Jimy and name CB player/manager.

Wagner always likes to make it interesting. Oh well, I guess you can't really argue with results.

Good game tonight. Wade was great and it was nice that he gave us as many runs as he gave up to the Cards. I couldn't tell from my seats, but should Craig have gotten to that Edmonds triple? Looked like he could have had it if he'd layed out from where I was. Anyway, Billy almost gave me a heart attack at the end but at least he pulled through. Hopefully we get more than 2-3 hits against Woody tomorrow...

Craig was playing over in left-center...that's where he was positioned...they were playing Edmonds to go the other way...instead he pulled it. there was no way he was getting to that ball positioned where he was.

Exactly, Brad was sitting on the outside corner & Whitey got a little too much of the plate with the curve. Bidge was positioned well over into left center, he made a good break on the ball but there was no way he was getting to it.

That being said, CB is definitely a well below average defensive CFer, the 'Stros just don't have any other options.

Is there anyone that is more of an Astros Killer than Jim Edmonds?

Here is my all-time Astros killer lineup:

1B - Will Clark (1st career HR off of Ryan; never looked back)
    2B - Jay Bell
    SS -
    3B -
    RF - Andre Dawson
    CF Jim Edmonds
    LF - Kevin McReynolds

    SP - Tom Glavine
    Closer - Trevor Hoffman

I can't think of a shortstop or 3B who have constantly killed us over the years.

Actually at SP you should have any Braves playoff starter.

I'd definitely put Brian Giles in LF.

Millwood, Pujols, & Piazza also come to mind.

Didn't he blow two save opportunities against the Astros on consecutive nights a couple of years ago? I don't think I would include him in the Astro Killer category.
