Please keep this to talk about the series. As usual no Play-by-Play, or general Astros talk. If you need play by play see one of the many other sites that have game casts.

7-30 Manny Parra, LHP vs. J.A. Happ, LHP 7:05 on FSH

7-31 Dave Bush, RHP vs. Wandy Rodriguez, LHP 6:05 on FSH

8-1 Randy Wolf, LHP vs. Wesley Wright, LHP 1:05 on FSH

5 of the 6 starters in this series are left handed. I wonder what the odds of that would be.

The odds of Berkman getting a basehit? Pretty low.

Berkman has been even worse this year against LHP. Batting right handed, he would make Adam Everett feel embarrassed.

I know. I looked it up to see how bad it was this season, and it is awful. Its to the point he shouldn't be hitting from the right side anymore. Either try hitting them from the Left side, or platoon him. Kills me to say that, but its been a few years now where the split has been dramatic.

Yankee stadium's short right porch will suit Puma just fine.

I think Berkman should abandon batting right for the rest of the year. Can it really hurt?

I've always seen him projected as a back of the rotation type.
