All season long I've been asking "when do we get to play the white sox?" If this team is serious about getting back into the division race this year, anything less than a sweep is unacceptable.

The Astros can ill afford to lose this series. They pretty much have to win 6 of their remaining 8 series before the all star break and they play the Orioles,@ Twins, and Rangers in that stretch.
9 games behind Seattle now...sweep this series is a must, win the series ok I guess but not satisfied, lose this series then fire Espada.
It's gonna take a serious streak to get back into relevancy. 2 out of 3 games won't cut it, they need a 20-5 run.
If they go 16-8 over their next 24, they’ll probably go into the break less than 3 games out of the wild card and within 6 games of the division, and they’ll be above .500. That puts them within striking distance and with appropriate momentum to justify adding at the deadline and continuing to try to make the playoffs. I agree with you though, at some point between now and September they will have to go on a blazing 20-30 game run if they want to win the division, and their runway to go on any more losing streaks is gone.
