As always, no PBP in the thread. If you need that try one of the game cast sites. Keep discussion to this series. If it is not about this series it goes somewhere else. 6-2 Bud Norris, RHP (2-4, 3.76) vs. Tim Stauffer, RHP (1-3, 3.60) 9:05 on FSH 6-3 J.A. WWWW: The nameless collection of ballplayers with the brick red writing on their chests are a really good team.
Pence is doing it on offense and defense at a VERY high level right now. While Caballo is a fat Juan Pierre.
Stros tried everything they could to make this a minimal damage inning but the Pads would have none of it hahahaha.
I can say with a straight face that I have boycotted the Finals and have slid this team and the Stanley Cup ahead of the NBA in terms of priorities.
ANother BS call. That was ball 4. Lee is getting shafted. Great seeing so many runs on the board. Incase anyone didn't know, this is the FREE MLB.TV game of the day. http://mlb.mlb.com/flash/mediaplaye...MLB&clickOrigin=MSB&affiliateId=MSB&team=mlb& Watch it in HD FREE.
The Heat finally convinced me...there going to win the title so no point in watching that. Stros are starting to become more interesting and seeing Caballo slap singles to right is always fun. Hopefully some of the minor leaguers will make appearances throughout the 2nd half of the season.
The SD paper ran an article about the Padres and Petco Park today. Sunday will mark the 600th game played at Petco. Summary: -Entering tonight's game, the Padres are 309-287 at Petco Park. -They're hitting .199 at home this season and have collectively amassed a .572 OPS. In contrast, they're hitting .263 on the road with a team OPS of .699. -Entering tonight, the Padres were 9-20 at home. They were being outscored 116-65. They're 15-12 on the road, scoring 125, while holding their hosts to 100. -The only losing season at home in the Petco era was 2008, when they lost 99. -Padres have hit .240 at Petco, as have their opponents. They own a .318 OBP compared to .305 for the opponent. -Ironically, they've been outscored here, 2306-2229. Opponents have outhomered them 498-460. -Padres have not had a .300 hitter since Brian Giles in 2008.
Yep, me too. Doesn't help that my direct tv is out, and I'm waiting for them to come by on Saturday to service it..... Don't feel like watching the heat win in crappy quality.....so watching the Stros who have become more fun to watch in HD
Damn, I thought Wallace got enough of that. EDIT: CJ with the HOMER!!!!! We almost had back to back shots there.
Petco = Astrodome's early years....they need to go all speed much like what the Stros did through the 80s. CJ is having himself a night, good to see.
