I like it...the top 6 hitters doing what they are supposed to do....and then you have the 3 autoouts at the bottom of the order.
what happened? I figured it was over when the count was 1-2 with 2 outs. I left to check my email etc.
WWLW...Ok a little late, but I left early to get my kids...The start of a long streak to get us back in...Hey, i can dream can't I... I think I'll do a double or nothing bet with my friend whose a Reds fan...
sometimes it just sucks to be a reds fan...we're paying cordero a ridiculous amount. to top it off...krivsky was let loose for jocketty...and now today we hire the mariners gm who was just fired to be jockettys asst. which leads me to believe jocketty is soon to leave..why would he need an asst? he did great in st louis.
Our defense surely doesn't look great. It's amazing that we have the least errors in all of baseball. Only 54. How about that throw by Hunter tonight to nail that guy at 3rd? One of the best I've seen in baseball this season.
Matsui was a triple away from the cycle. That's always the hardest one to get. Brings back memories of Luke Scott's reverse natural cycle when he was a rookie. Man, that was awesome.
Plus every time a player leaves or is traded from Cincinnati to play somewhere else they become a fantastic player. I want Josh Hamilton back.... and I want Adam Dunn to go away.
He plays everyday. He bats around .300. He'll finish with 30+ HR's and well over 100 RBI's again. I know there are those of you who don't like his contract...but I love him in the lineup.
Carlos is an awesome offensive player. Sure I wish we had some high OBP guys to set the table. We've got a lot of hitters that do similar stuff...but behind Berkman, is the best we've got as far as bats go. He could probably DH and go .300/30/110 til he was 40
