Yes, DeShields is going to own and they're gonna run all over Konger. Great. This is gonna be awful. 3-4/sweep awful. Rangers own the Astros. ________________________________ <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">AL scout on Astros to <a href="https://twitter.com/gfraley">@gfraley</a> "They look like they're really worn out." <a href="http://t.co/E9quLBVpx5">http://t.co/E9quLBVpx5</a></p>— Reid Laymance (@ReidLaymance) <a href="https://twitter.com/ReidLaymance/status/643535949553631232">September 14, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">More AL scout on Astros: Keep 'em in the yard, and you beat them. I'm confused... are you saying position players should never rest and that the concept is dated? If so, every manager and every team in the league are wrong. Or just that Marwin should rest on another day or something and not this particular one?
The redeeming factor for this series is that the Rangers play in a band box. Let's see if we can crush some homers, and take some of the pressure off our pitchers.
We need more of this J.R.: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=10004189&postcount=399 Springer and Lowrie did ok yesterday, I think.
Marwin took a nasty HBP yesterday. Looked like it hit him right on the shin and he limped pretty bad to 1B. Probably just needs a day to let that sucker heal. It sounded like it hit all bone on the broadcast.

It makes sense. Tomorrow is when we really need him as Perez struggles big time vs righties. Hamels is not as tough vs lefties, so i think Rasmus will have a good game and Valbuena will be able to battle. Still, Conger and Marisnick struggles vs lefties, Valbuena is a lefty that does not hit lefties much ( i don't think he is terrible, but much better vs righties), so last 3 spots are going to be difficult for us. Now, how bad is Carter? He is not even playing tonight vs a lefty. I think is a good move by Hinch because Valbuena will give you defense, Carter won't.
Fantastic article here. Basically just saying Rangers have been clutch and the Astros haven't. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">How the Rangers Have Gained On the Astros <a href="http://t.co/uXNcvpRvSy">http://t.co/uXNcvpRvSy</a></p>— Jeff Sullivan (@based_ball) <a href="https://twitter.com/based_ball/status/643544692014088192">September 14, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
In June I was reading on here how the Astros just weren't as good as their record, and would fade In July I was reading on here how the offense was way too hit or miss, and they couldn't make it through the summer In August I was reading on here how we had really struggled through most of the season but were only in first because of a hot start, and that the Angels would beat us In September i've been reading how terrible the offense is, and how the Rangers own us, and how we probably can't even hold on to the wild card And here we are, mid September, in first place...where we will be tomorrow regardless of the outcome tonight Two Words GO STROS!
