WWW. We need to get better against one of the worst teams in the league, which we should've done last series. Hopefully Lance won't miss all three games. If he does, hopefully he's back by Monday.
Maybe the team photo needs to be put on milk cartons. Missing - 2005 NLCS champions (last seen in St. Louis on May 4, 2006)
C'Mon now...am I the only one that thinks the team played good in the WS but just got ever so slightly outplayed...and more appropriately, outclutched by the Chi Sox? The milk carton idea I like though.
of course you're not the only one. i totally agree. they got beat by the better team...but every game was within reach. and by the way...i'm guessing that milk carton wouldn't have been wildly popular a few weeks back when they were 19-9.
Whoops... I saw St. Louis and NLCS and I thought Oct 05 And considering a tombstone worked last year maybe the milk carton idea will spark 'em outa the funk this year... though I still think it's probably a little too early for such desperation tactics. Maybe if and when the team actually dips below .500, though hopefully that won't happen.
I understand the confusion. The Astros won two games in STL the first week of May and then the rudder came off the Astros ship up there in the high altitude of Cape Coors.
Chris Burke hitting 3rd.... I believe he did good in one game there last year, but still an interesting move.
If the last series wasn't one that we had to win because of the crappy competition....this is on we should win.
