Please keep this to talk about the series. As usual no Play-by-Play, or general Astros talk. If you need play by play see one of the many other sites that have game casts.

Knew that a move was coming. OKC makes the most sense.

Yeah, it does...but for someone who lives 5 minutes from Dell Diamond, it sucks. Guess I'll be going to less games from now on...probably only when the whatever-the-OKC-team-is-called comes to town.

Just checked into the game. 3 Nats errors already? Either they suck, or we're being really aggressive on the base paths.

The DMV area probably really hates Houston right now.

Hopefully Bud can eliminate some of those untimely walks next season.

2 outs, light hitting Kennedy at the plate with Zimmerman on deck and he walks him on 4 pitches.

    Hopefully it doesn't prove costly.

Edit: Byrdak gets Dunn on 3 pitches. Still, that's definitely something for Bud to improve upon next season.

Interesting but I don't see it unless we get rid of Caballo...

We will surely have the payroll to sign him but I don't really see the advantage.

He's going to be 30 years old soon and even though we have been well above .500 since the break I think it would be smart to just save the money.

I'll take me some Prince Fielder after next year.

how about Uggla? is he a FA this offseason? seems like he'd be a really good fit.

    Uggla would be perfect.

I agree we should hold off on Crawford. Hopefully, Wade and company are rightfully gun-shy on giving older outfielders a truckload of money (...and no trade clauses, and 6 guaranteed years, and...).

My biggest quesiton about next year and beyond is this, could we "buy out" Carlos Lee? There has to be a way to get out from under his contract, right? Or do we pick up half his salary and trade him for a bag of balls? Would that even be prudent?

It's much harder to add a solid bat (which we'll need next year) in the middle infield than add a bat in a corner outfield position.
