We will be swept into Montreal, where we will be swept back to Houston, where the Braves will promptly sweep us.

    Good times.

Kinda like when Bill Worrell says, "this guy never misses free throws" to put the voodoo on opposing teams! I'm with you!!!

If we can only coerce the Mets into putting in Benitez, we should do just fine.

Thursday's pitching matchup looks like a great game.

We need at least 2 of these games. I hope we get the bats going. What is Berkman's status?

According to the Chronicle, Berkman will probably be back on Wednesday at the earliest.

They want to see him take batting practice Tuesday before they consider playing him. Leiter is a lefty, however, so he'll probably sit Thursday's game anyways, making him thus doubtful for the series (why risk bringing him back too soon for just one game where he'll be useful).

Its a long season folks... there will be plenty of time for everyone to get healthy, and for us to start winning.

I'm going to the game tomorrow! Last year, I wore my Astros shirt and hat and made a complete ass of myself in front of all the Mets fans around me. Ahhhh... Good times, noodle salad. I'm looking forward to more of the same tomorrow. Those Mets fans won't know what hit them... :)

Hmmmm. Maybe I should jump the Mets' first base coach and... uh... nevermind.

Going to the game Thursday. I was thinking it would be funny to take a broom to the game if the Astros win the first 2. Doubt that will happen though.

I can't say that I'd be suprised if the Mets sweep this series...

Oh we get to see Jae Seo pitch. We'll take 2 of 3... hopefully.

Top of 2nd: Bagwell strikes out looking with the bases juiced.

    Still 2-0
