I think Moles comes back strong tonight and pitches well along with a guy making his 5th start should be a good formula for success.

Oswalt is healthy and thats a good thing although I like Volstad it should be close one but a W for the good guys.

Norris probably pitches well again but Nolasco has pitched well lately too so it could turn into a bullpen game and that may not be good for the Stros.

Hampton will get rocked this should be Bazardo starting but oh well...could be the last stand and probably will be...wont release him but probably put him on the DL...

Il take a split but the Cards easy schedule will do us in in the long run...

8/10 - Moehler vs. VandenHurk - W - Moehler should bounce back. VandenHurk has some nasty stuff, but he still is raw and lacks control.

    8/11 - Oswalt vs. Volstad - W - Roy-O is back-o!

8/12 - Norris vs. Nolasco - L - Sorry Bud, first ML loss. Nolasco's been cruisin' (though Bud did beat Wainwright...).

8/13 - Hampton vs. West - W - I only say "win" because I hope Bazardo pitches, this time on a little more than 3 days rest.

Moehler now has a 5.54 ERA and a WHIP approaching 1.60 with over 100 IP.

We've had way too many games like this recently going back to the series in SF.

and that team has two world series championships, how sad is that, the Astros get way more support, are competitive way more consistently

The inherent flaw in baseball playoffs is that any team can win, any time, no matter what the regular season says.

The Marlins were blessed 2 times already.

Deal with the devil may be running out for Moles but good start to the 2nd...keep us in this baby and we should get some good chances to score tonight!

I wish Houston would make a pitch for the Marlins. Houston is the 4th largest city in America and the 3 larger cities ahead of us all have 2 major leauge baseball teams, and each are very successful franchises. I know it's do-able and could be profitable for both teams. Yet I know it would never happen.

Drayton will never allow it, but if for nothing else....do it just to keep a team from going to SA and winning a bunch of WS. :D
