Probably not But if we are swept right now, who knows Like I say, it's hard to say what Crane will do because this is not a situation he has ever been in as an owner
We’re just talking baseball here. No need to get aggressive with each other. There are only like 4 posters here that truly deserve to be beaten to death. enjoy the game, folks!
Funny thing is Verlander's best season here was with Chirinos catching him who he didn't meet until spring training.
And Framber threw 7 shutout to Diaz on the 15th of this month So any talk of him not throwing well when Diaz catches is just BS The whole thing is just very strange I've followed baseball my whole life, and yes there have been many times where a team (even the Astros) would get the backup catcher in the game by kind of designating him to a certain pitcher, but in certain situations the other catcher would catch that guy with no reservations. Last year it wouldn't have mattered if Diaz had faced a pitcher 10 times and hit 10 HR, if Framber or JV was pitching he was going to sit. We can't go back to that crap, we have enough issues already I think the key to us getting back to where we want to be is Bregman, Diaz and Chas to catch fire. Bregman will continue to get his chances daily, even in the cleanup spot, doesn't really matter what he does. Hopefully Diaz continues to be an everyday guy too. Chas already is being squeezed. Yes, he has been terrible at the plate, but the sample size there is less than half of Bregmans, and as much as Abreu. I hope he isn't about to be relegated into an i'll play him when I want to situation again. We need his bat to come to life
Just figure out how to get a split in this series. We need to keep treading water until we have everyone back and finally in some sort of groove. That might not be until after the all star break. Figure out how to get to 45-45 at the 90 game mark.
He’s had a few of those. Hopefully its just a matter of a slight adjustment, but both he and Bregman are suffering the repercussions of being millimeters off.
