Meyers' arm certainly leaves something to be desired.

This game sucks.

But 7 days off in between appearances for the supposed 3rd best bullpen pitcher is highly questionable…

He didn’t come in on the ball and throw home. Yeah his arm isn’t great so far.

 

The offense just doesn’t show up all the time. Too inconsistent. Not good under pressure. Will ultimately destroy us in the playoffs.

 

Go back to game 7 vs. Tampa Bay in the playoffs in 2020. Little to no offense. Just like this. Happens too often.

 

Or go back to the ‘19 WS games at home.

We built up a good record in the first half and have been very mediocre for a long time now. This team isn’t going anywhere this year. We need to learn situational hitting in the worst way. We absolutely suck in non blowout games. Our offense goes ice cold for long stretches and cant seem to get out of it but for a couple of games where we score 10+ runs and then inexplicably back to horse ****.

 

Takes strikes, swings at balls... the definition of a slump.
