As always, no PBP in the thread. If you need that try one of the game cast sites. Keep discussion to this series. If it is not about this series it goes somewhere else.

5-30 Aneury Rodriguez, RHP (0-2, 4.98) vs. Rodrigo Lopez, RHP (0-0, -.--) 1:20 on FSH

5-31 Jordan Lyles, RHP (0-0, -.--) vs. Carlos Zambrano, RHP (5-2, 4.59) 7:05 on FSH

    6-1 Brett Myers, RHP (1-4, 5.11) vs. Doug Davis, LHP (0-3, 6.75) 1:20 on My20

Haha awesome.:) I'd guess they win one(today or tomorrow), lose two. Or getting swept always a possibility.

Back to not deserving of being called by their proper name... :(

Let's start the Jordan Lyles era on a winning note tomorrow!

    love keppinger.

guy is steady, underrated, and cheap. a lot of people always want to see him traded, but i'd love to see them keep him around here cheaply until our young middle infield prospects are ready for the bigs.

A journeyman pitcher who has never been really good and a rookie pitcher who still getting his feet wet with the winds blowing out.equals an 18-15 type score lol.

This is my first time actually watching an Astros game start to finish this season.. and it is absolutely brutal. Has anyone consistently watched them this year? How do you do it?

Really??? By their standards, this is pretty watchable

I want to see Cancel play a bit just to see if he can be a decent backup to Q. J.R. is just not a very good player and an occasional 3-4 day won't change that.

wow, had no idea about this. thanks for bringing it to my attention.

it's pretty sweet for about 5 minutes, but also a little pointless. getting sick of flipping around already.

Nice swing by Barmus and Bourn is having himself a day.

And Pence...dude is a machine right now and Lopez shouldn't be pitching in the big leagues.

At what point do we start to consider Pence is taking it up a level? Maybe not superstar level but his OBP is above .350 and slugging almost .500. He is close to the league lead in RBIs, close to the top of the NL in doubles and plays good/unusual defense.

agreed, but let's see him do it the whole way. for all we know this is his scorching late season bat come early.

he sure has been great though.

Yea not sure if that was Clark or Lee because it was one stupid call.

DeWitt is an infielder playing outfield, tough break on CJs ball but might be why Clark sent Lee, regardless, still stupid.

Lee had a chance to put his fatness to good use for once but instead slid into home like a little leaguer... or like a fat, rich pro just going through the motions until he retires to his ranch... either/or.

Then there is the question of Dave Clark's abilities as a 3B coach but I'm not sure that being aggressive there was necessarily a bad call.
