    Cardinals couldn't escape Bud.

    Would have been at the game today if not for work (my wife is visiting family in St. Louis, but I had to stay behind).

    still remember when the astros didnt start roger clemens on 3 games rest in the nlcs and we lost that game and went ahead and lost game 7 grr

    I still remember when he gave up that 3 run homer in the NLCS and our offense getting shut down by Jeff Suppan. It was Sterling Hitchcock beating Randy Johnson all over again.

    i dont get why we didnt start clemens on 3 days rest then start oswalt on 3 days rest. i mean srsly that would've given us the best chance.

    Clemens was ancient. I thought it was the right choice (obviously worked out differently). Clemens/Oswalt combo against Jeff Suppan.

    bud isnt going to pull any A+ prospects because he still hasnt shown he can win on the road against a good team. i think its best to just hold onto him long term because i just dont see us receiving any major talent in return.
