This will be a tough series, with the offense not showing out too well, asking Javier to out duel their ace is a tall order, and after that we have our worst two guys going, so I don't expect the offense to be able to carry them either. Bielak did look pretty dang good on Friday and has been pretty solid this most recent callup though.
I was really happy with the Abreu signing. I have not been remotely happy with his performance so far. In the end, they are people just like us. I'm sure he wants to play well. I REALLY appreciate the fact that he is working hard and cares. Maybe it can still be ok. There's a lot of season left.
So this is where we are at? Abreu moves down a spot, Dubon benching altuve to play 2b, and Julks continuing to play 3/4 days? Alright then. Let’s go get a W tonight.
Not bizarre, Idiotic! Not only is his .622 OPS terrible for an OF....in May it's .414!!! And Chaz is a lot better defensively But the old idiot will do as he does Hopefully our pitching will be good enough to overcome him
This Corey Julks situation is completely absurd, at least Tucker is back in front of Abreu..for now. But I'm sure if Javier dominates like Framber did and we win 2-1 Dusty will get credit for his brilliant lineup choices by some around here. Lets keep playing our worst hitters as much as possible, Dusty plays 4D chess we just can't comprehend.
