Talk about the series here. Please no PBP in this thread. Unless otherwise noted all games are on CSN-H (for about 40% I guess). 5-19 Dallas Keuchel, LHP vs. Garrett Richards, RHP 9:05 5-20 Scott Feldman, RHP vs. Tyler Skaggs, LHP 9:05 5-21 Collin McHugh, RHP vs. Jered Weaver, RHP 9:05
Would love to see another nice start by Dallas tonight The offense has really come on in May. Since May 1 we are 5th in all of MLB in OPS On the season, Dominguez is 5th among all 3b in OPS, Villar 14th among all SS, Altuve 11th among all 2b and Castro 11th among all catchers. We have several guys who are mlb average players now, or above average. We need that one or two guys now that are true difference makers
anybody have a quality baseball streaming site? all of the ones that i've been using seem to have gone to crap over the past few days.
Yep, the single worst part of this team. I've been one that has continually said it's hard to judge Porter because he doesn't have the overall talent on the team to win consistently. All of the baserunning mistakes, that occur over and over and over, don't put him in a good light though
He can get blame for calling for hit and runs or steals in inopportune situations... but you can't really fault the manager for base-running errors on balls hit in play. That last play, Fowler figured he had plenty of time to get to second, anticipating the throw home... but completely forgetting about the possibility of them cutting off the throw. What was more impressive is that Springer went 1st to home in about the same time that Fowler attempted to go home to 2nd (or, it speaks to the fact that Fowler may not have the "elite" speed that others think he has).
Ok We will just have to agree to disagree on this one then. I do think that when you see individual baserunning mistakes here and there, that is all on the players. When it happens over and over and over and over, it reeks of a lack of discipline on the team, even a really young team Just my opinion
