Was she arrested or no?

I saw articles saying she was arrested but haven't read anything else about all of it

 

Seems like it depends on what you mean by the word arrested. If you mean being put in custody and taken to jail, no, she wasn't arrested.

 

It is funny to me.

I am not a fan of AOC. I don't find her to be as truthful as I would like and I don't agree with her on a lot of issues. I question her sincerity at times too.

Having said that.... she is very dangerous politically. She is young, well in touch with women and those that are under 45 years old.... she is very clever and she oozes charisma. There hasn't really been anyone like her.

I will also point out that those that seem to really have an issue with her just play into her hand by always making some reference to her gender, sexuality or appearance. It just plays up her position of being the center of a patriarchy and women and younger people see how she is being treated and portrayed and it isn't good.

I worry about her eventually having control of this country or at least a lot of influence - but this country survived Kennedy, Nixon, Reagan, Clinton and Trump.

Maybe she burns out like Jesse Jackson did..... but I somewhat doubt it, we live in a different world and Jackson also never was in touch with the larger generational views and opinions in the way AOC is. We also live in a period of populism, and boy can she fit into that group with her charisma and flexible definition of truth.

 

She's a ****ing idiot. No matter what side you're on and anyone who supports her is the sam. You make money. You should absolutely hate her

Yep, she is diligent and knows her way around popular media. Almost a guaranteed lock in the House...

It is amusing folks revert to her gender, sexuality, and appearance to attack her. That probably gives her an even bigger pass with her constituents and inflates her standing in the House.

 

Yeah I don't recall AOC failing her GED multiple times or marrying a guy who whipped his d*ck out to underage girls, all the while physically assaulting her while she was pregnant.

Or cheating on her husband multiple times with her gym workout partners.

 

She could totally be another narcissistic power monger who wins at all costs. Seems that voters are moving in the populist direction. But I don't know much about her either. She is also very inexperienced

Yup. I think her agenda is herself. And honestly all of this controversy the right generates around her is actually helping her. It puts the spotlight on her. Makes her more popular because the right hates her so much. She uses that to lay a path for herself politically. She's not dumb. She wants to do things to provoke the right. The handcuff thing couldn't be better for her. The more she is attacked, the more powerful she will become. Unlike Clinton, she's likable, so the right is going to risk looking very bad in the way they are attacking her.

 

She's not likable to anyone who doesn't have a single digit IQ
