The biggest turmoil is due to Fertitta but James got one thing he can't control.

    Who the owner is.

    And one other thing.

    A championship cannot be guaranteed.

Even the Lakers might not win it every year therefore Harden better say he wants out or he wants in because his reasons can't be justified.

His playing style is also a reason why winning it all could be difficult.

He is clearly adding to the turmoil with his conduct.

It takes 3 years after acquiring a Superstar to be one of the top teams. You still need high quality role players. To fill out the rotation. The Celtics, Heat, Bucks are way better.

The Nets have Mike D'antoni that is one of the Main Reasons.

Can James Harden be the 3rd wheel behind. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

If James Harden wants to be the 6th Man go ahead.

James Harden should start doing a web series showing him doing everything from taking a dump to meeting Mike Tyson in Vegas, to dumpster diving with Lena the Plug.

Harden wouldn’t be the third wheel, it would only be a matter of time before it was his team.

A source says that Harden's cell reception is "poor" in the VIP section of the Spearmint Rhino and that Fertitta is begging (through texts) for one of his Las Vegas "cousins" to infiltrate the gentleman's club and force the disgruntled star into the coach seat of a Southwest flight to Hobby. The plane is scheduled to land at SkyHarbor Airport in Phoenix as a means of saving money compared to a direct flight.

The nets should just offer Kyrie. He's redundant with Harden and Harden is a much better player. Then they can package all their other assets for a more complimentary star like Bradley Beal, or Booker, or Giannis if their teams falter at trade deadline.

Heck even Buddy Hield would be a better fit.

No thanks to Kyrie. No team will want him as the center piece of a future trade. Hield isn't a bad fit, but he isn't needed here.

I am driving to downtown Chicago and am on the interstate.... I think I saw Harden and Delonte West walking with a group of bums.

    maybe not.

If the Rockets trade Harden, they sure as hell better be rebuilding.

If we grab Ben Simmons, or Jaylen Brown, I don’t see why we couldn’t be super competitive this year.

I don't see it, both of those players are massive step downs from James Harden.

Also to rebuild around either player and trying to win would be a massive mistake, there just isn't enough talent to ever go far..... the Rockets could potentially keep one of them and tank for a few years...... but I personally would then turn around and deal them when someone offers a really appealing package. The Rockets are going to need to really hoard assets to rebuild. Look at a team like the Thunder.

    The Thunder will have 3 #1's in 2021.... 3 #1's in 2022... 2 #1's in 2023...... 3 #1's in 2024.... 2 #1's in 2025.... 3 #1's in 2026.....

How are the Rockets realistically completing with that kind of asset accumulation? Especially when the Rockets are giving up a lot of those picks to OKC

We went from Yao to Harden without tanking. I’d expect us to go for that again. A combination of good players and culture along with slick maneuvering to compile assets.

Also, all those picks OKC has, they might not get one player as good as Ben Simmons is.
