Desperation game for the bum Yankees. If they can’t get a W with their best pitcher, get the brooms ready.

nah he was way more patient at the plate this series than against the mariners. he hit some hard balls right at the yankees so just bad luck. strong feeling he has a multi hit game today thanks to the yankee crowd

Whether he has a stinker or not, this will be his last chance to have one this postseason.

Sticking with Carpenter, though. I guess they're hoping he'll snap out of it like we are hoping Altuve snaps out of it.

Rizzo lead off reeks of desperation. Yankee offense in disarray, feels like Javier could deal tonight.

Bats need to wake up and pressure Cole

Faith in Altuve is justified considering he is one of the best playoff performers of all time.

all starts with Altuve. He should try for a lead off walk.

Anyone know the reason for starting Vazquez over Maldonado?

As expected except Vasquez and Mancini swapped at 7 & 8.

He should react to the pitch rather than plan on swinging or not swinging. But he knows that and usually adjusts to how they are pitching him. He has always been a streaky hitter and I fully expect him to get several hits soon.

Hasn't he been the one usually catching Javier down the stretch?

Y'all like Alvarez over Mancini in left field?
