Anyone other than Steven A Smith and his female cohost spouting that JV would not be used in the Yankees series under any circumstance?

If Altuve regresses to the mean, it won't matter who pitches.

Reports are that they want Dusty back next year, so how much longer is Espada willing to wait? White Sox have a solid core, so it's not like he's leaving for the A's.

Que? If it gets to a game 5 JV is on normal rest to pitch unless they wanted to give him another day.

First Funk Altuve chant and he's going yard. So it will be the first AB of the game.

That's a bit of a risk holding JV back for game #6 if that was the case. On one hand you could have JV to start the WS if we win in 5, but on the other hand we still have to get there and having JV go game #5 means he would be available for Game #2 of the WS.

Got my World Series Game #2 tickets, airfare and hotel purchased. Just in case they win game #3 and the price skyrockets

I was wondering early in the game somebody, I think it was Rizzo, hit a ball that seemed to carry a lot and the announcers were
saying how the open roof made those fly balls go a lot further. That was a little hard to believe, but the narrative changed before the night was over.

They have pieces but are also rumored to be making massive changes this offseason including letting Abreu walk.

If Dusty wins it this year, hard to see him return...

Well, there's your first problem, listening to anything Stephen A. Smith has to say.;)
