Same thing as last year, we were able to go back to it at the end of the season and see that Clutch was very accurate in his prediction.

Here's the thread from last season: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=119363

A thread solely for 2007-2008 Rockets record predictions.

To participate, simply post how many games you think the Rockets will win during the regular season and how far we will go in the post-season in the following format. (Also, make sure your regular season win/losses add up to 82 )

Here's my prediction for the 2007-2008 season:

    Regular Season: 58-24
Postseason: Win NBA Finals in 6

The font size and coloring makes it easier to glance through and view people's predictions quickly. If you can, stick with the same color and size scheme. Please limit your posts to only the record prediction and no other comments so that we can keep this thread organized and in order! My prediction is above.

Will enter as a 5th seed with home court advantage (still think Dallas, San Antonio, and Phoenix will have better records). I'll guess that we beat Utah in the first round, and lose to one of the "big three" in the second round.

exactly. i see the rockets starting slow in 07, making up ground in january, and turning on the after burners around the all-star break.

I originally thought the Rockets were going to dominate this year but the preseason has disabused me of that notion, because Adelman's offense doesn't seem to be catching well with this team, Yao especially but everyone else except maybe Bonzi.

if last night was any indication we would be lucky to win 50 games.I still hope that our players and coach will rally and take us to 60 wins. :p

Don't worry. First of all we need time. I'll say it again cause that's true. We have new coach, new players and what's the most important thing - new strategy. We have to live with it, we have to learn. Season is a different think. Here in the Preseason you don't play to win, you play just to play, but in regular season you do.
