    This is the last time I will post anything about the Astros or baseball until next season:
    If the Astros would have gone to the World Series, they would have beaten the Red Sox and kept the curse going. I doubt the Crapbirds will.

    My original predictions were as follows:

    Red Sox over Angels
    Yankees over Twins
    Astros over Braves
    Cardinals over Dodgers

    Red Sox over Yankees
    Cardinals over Astros

    Cardinals over Red Sox

    But the way the Red Sox are playing now, I can see them winning the series. However, I have gotten to like the Cardinals over this past year (they are my OOTP team for those who know what OOTP is). It will be tough to see the Red Sox lose a World Series, but if the Sox have to lose to someone - I would prefer it to be the Cardinals.

    Cardinals in 5, maybe 6.

    Cardinals are Boston, with a better lineup.

    And also the Francona factor.

    Tavarez and his trick cap is enough for any casual fan to NOT root for the Cards.

    I don't know how the St Louis pitchers made it by the Astros lineup, but SPs like Williams, Suppan, Marquis, and Morris should not be allowed to win the World Series. Sox in 6, and ManRam comes up big time.
